Care may include assessment and acupuncture treatment intended to promote, maintain or restore health and relieve pain within the practitioner’s authorized scope.
Your first visit allows more time for history, assessment and planning. Subsequent appointments can focus more directly on ongoing treatment and reassessment.
Rebecca will review relevant history, what brings you in and what you hope to address through care.
Your practitioner considers the information gathered and determines an appropriate approach within acupuncture scope of practice.
The treatment plan and needle placement are discussed with you, with attention to consent, positioning and comfort.
Rebecca may discuss how you responded, whether another appointment may be appropriate and any relevant next steps.
Rebecca completed education in traditional Chinese medicine, herbalism and acupuncture in Canada and is a Registered Acupuncturist. She has also completed sports acupuncture certification and continues professional education to expand her knowledge and skills.
