Appointments Include:
Consultation, assessment, treatment, active rehabilitation exercises, homecare instruction, billing, and rescheduling. All appointments require a minimum of 24 hours notice of cancellation. If this requirement is not met, the full cost of the appointment is the responsibility of the patient. Missed appointment fees cannot be billed to third party insurers like MSP, ICBC, or extended healthcare providers.
Insurance MSP:
Covers $23.00 per appointment, of up to 10 treatments per year for those who qualify for premium assistance, and may include any combination of Massage Therapy, Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, Acupuncture, Naturopathic Dr., and Podiatry. Patients with premium assistance MSP coverage are expected to pay a user fee, which would cover the difference in cost of the private clinic fee. We can let you know immediately if you qualify for this reduced rate with your Carecard number and birthdate.
 Extended Insurance Plans:
The majority of extended benefit plans will cover Massage Therapy provided by a Registered Massage Therapist. Most insurance providers require the patient to pay the private rate and submit a receipt. We are not set up to bill directly to extended insurance providers at this time. However, receipts will be provided to each patient at the time of their appointment. Many insurance providers now accept online submissions from benefit recipients. Our clinic will email you a PDF of your receipt for online submissions, or if you prefer we will provide a paper copy.
ICBC:
Once you have filed an injury claim with ICBC, and received a claim number you are entitled to receive 12 treatments within 12 weeks of your car accident.  Within this 12-week window, the initial 60 minute assessment will cost you $4.00 at the time of your appointment; subsequent appointments are 45 minutes and will cost you $10.50.  If you are seeking massage therapy treatment outside of this 12 week window, you will need to contact your adjuster or lawyer to acquire authorization for coverage and payment by ICBC.
